We have visited many aquariums throughout the U.S. including some of the highest rated. My favorite so far has been the Atlanta Aquarium. The Albuquerque Aquarium is fairly small, with not many exhibits, but what makes it 4 stars is the quality of the exhibits....More

I visit aquariums wherever I go. Typically they are in a city with an ocean nearby (Sydney, Melbourne, Baltimore, Monterey). So I was a little curious to see what an "inland" aquarium would be like. While it was nice, it seemed to be lacking, but...More

This is a great place to bring the kids or come alone as I did. Small but a lot of interesting sea life. The Botanical Gardens are attached with this so you can spend a lot of time here.

Good amount to see. Better than some bigger city places. Enjoyable afternoon visit with some of the more unusual and colorful fish I have ever seen.

If you have never been to the BioParks Christmas "River of Lights" you are missing out. It was a fantastic experience, and a great holiday season event. It was inspiring to see the results of what must be thousands of work hours to set up....More

This city aquarium is great for a city the size of Albuquerque. The Shark Reef Cafe there is a popular place to eat where you can dine and watch sharks swim by.

30 minutes tops, but the kids LOVE it .They can watch the jellyfish for awhile. It doesn't take long to walk through. Best deal is with the zoo.

You can see all of the aquarium's attractions in 30 minutes; maybe 45 minutes if you linger a bit. They have some interesting fish, just not enough of them. Unfortunately, they seem to have lost the eels - didn't see them last time - and...More

A great visit in combination with the zoo. Our favorite part was the sting rays. The kids enjoyed staring at all the animals in the large aquarium. Our visit only took about 1- 1.5 hours so it is good to combine with either the garden...More

The aquarium is very small but not too bad for being in New Mexico. My two main complaints are 1.) Some of the exhibits such as the stingray tank, kids can easily reach over the glass and put their hands in. 2.) There's really no...More
