Our first visit was in 2015. We came at 4:00AM and had no trouble in seeing everything the Fiesta had to offer. We particularly enjoyed seeing the early morning balloon glows. As it became light, there were hundreds of balloons floating in the air. The...More

Was parked in entry driveway overnight when they closed the gates and said that they had no place to put ourselves and at least 20 other RV’s that were in line. They said that they would find a place for the next day after the...More

Great variety of balloons and attractions; only drawback was the crowds. We waited 2 hours for the bus to get to the festival and 1 hour to leave.

What an amazing experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the balloon fiesta - even being there at 6:00 a.m.! We stayed at a house approximately 2 miles from the festival and decided to walk there instead of driving as the streets nearby tend to get jammed. Everyone...More

It was such a unique and amazing experience. There is nothing keeping you from walking right up to the balloons.

This is one of my favorite occasions in October in New Mexico. It is epic! There are special shape balloons and a balloon glow at night.

1. If you have an RV, make reservations and stay in the fiesta grounds RV park. And you can walk or shuttle to the field and avoid traffic. Make your reservation far in advance. 2. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday there are only morning sessions...More
