Take a trip around the world and under water all in one location. I am not a zoo expert, but I think this is a great zoo experience.

PROS: Exhibits linked together by a easily walk-able pathways. Chimpanzees, big cats, polar bears & (my favorite) very colorful spotted tree frogs. CONS: Eating establishment left something to be desired. Came here with the fam's, the day before Thanksgiving. Had a enjoyable time. Took a few hours to visit all the exhibits but the time flew by quickly.

If you are from out of town, by all means, consider something else to do with your time. This is not San Diego or even the Kansas City Zoo. The exhibits are spread out and not architecturally attractive. The animals look bored and sort of sick. The food choices are standard fare but not really tasty or fresh. I go... More

We stopped by in passing after seeing a flyer in the hotel. They were going through some refurbishment work, but that didn't detract from the zoo at all, was nice and quiet when we visited, Just some school groups. Visit if you've got a couple of hours spare in town!

Going and visiting the zoo never gets old. Always have fun seeing all the animals and attractions going on at the time. My family always try and visit the zoo whenever we're in town and will continue to do so. So go visit the zoo.

We had a great time exploring the zoo! They have several animals that we haven't seen in other zoos. The train was also fun to ride!

I can only presume so many exhibitions were closed because of the time of year, and this was a real shame. At least 30% of exhibitions appeared closed, and those that were open were pretty run down and depressing. It was worth the cheap price that we paid ($7 each adult), but honestly I could have done with saving the... More

October 7, 2016 - We visited the Albuquerque BioPark Zoo using a combo ticket. The combo ticket is a great deal, especially if you are a senior ($10) or a veteran ($8). The combo ticket includes admission to the zoo, the aquarium, botanic garden, and unlimited train rides. The ticket must be purchased between 9am and noon Tuesdays to Sundays... More

We really only did the garden park area but it was really cool. Very big lots of variety and many different buildings.
