I love the Albuquerque Zoo! It's affordable and a great place to spend a day. The park is always clean and so much fun for people of all ages.

This is a really nice zoo. The animals have a good environment, with the ability to get some privacy and large and natural looking enclosures. They have a good breeding program, which only happens in a zoo where the animals are relatively happy.

It's best to go during the week, early in the day, if you're there between the hours of 9-12 you get to see the zoo keepers feed the animals

You need to get there before 11:00 am in order to buy a day pass to ride the train from the zoo to the Bio-park or vice a versus. You not only see all the animals but a short ride on a train and the Japanese gardens it is just a nice way to spend a day.

Love this place. The animals are well cared for and very active, though I wish the keepers were a little more attentive of the crowds. Some parents let their children throw things in the enclosures which is really not good.

The city has one of the best bio parks I have seen in the country. Not huge, but still a great variety. The day pass with the "train" is great.

We have visited zoos on several continents, but I still think after years of visiting the Albuquerque Zoo, first as a child and then as a parent, that it is one of the best. My daughter thinks it IS the best, however. It is large but manageable and has many fascinating animals throughout.

Went on a cloudy day. It was very nice and calm. A lot of animals were not out but it was still a great time.

This facility is fairly cheap to visit and seeing the Gorillas make it completely worth it. We spent less than an hour here to see everything. However, the majority of the park was closed down for renovation. I would return around summer and they will probably have most of it complete but small children will still enjoy this place regardless.
