We travel all over the US and we have visited many Zoo’s. I must say the Albuquerque Zoo is one of the best. We saw Polar Bear, Spotted African Dog to name a few. Their signage on each exhibit was so good. They explained how...More

The Albuquerque Zoo is always a treat. It is clean, visitor friendly and really equal to or superior to zoos that are much bigger. We had the opportunity to have a VIP Elephant Tour with Senior Elephant Trainer, Lindsey Eagan. It was one of the...More

The zoo is always a nice place to visit and the BioPark is no different. We spent 2 hours walking around and seeing a lot of animals in very nice habitats. The kids were having a good time too.

The Albuquerque Zoo is one of Albuquerque's best hidden treats. It is small but it houses a wonderful abundance of wildlife from gorillas and orangutans to lions to rhinos to alligators to snakes and birds.

We had a great day at the zoo today!! The amphibian, snake and gator visit was our favorite and a great way to get some relief from the heat of the day. Though the polar bears and lions were sleeping, they were quite visible. The...More

The zoo was an understated stop. The enclosures often provided an “extra” view to allow guests to get more intimate looks of the animals. The animals provided glimpses of play such as the hippo tossing its ball or baby chimpanzees playing their moms. Would definitely...More

I love the Zoo. They animals all look content and the place is always clean. The keepers and people that work there seem to really care about the health and well being of the animals. It can be a really busy place, so be prepared...More
