This is a lot of fun for the children and adults highly recommend visiting the zoo and taking the train to the aquarium. It's great size to walk through and see all the animals and usually there's a baby animal that's a real crowd-pleaser.

Plan on going more then once. There is so much to see and do. I recommend pick on area and stay in that area the whole visit and do that several times.

Visiting the ABQ BioPark Zoo after an absence of several years, we observed significant expansion. Apparently the animals are content with the new changes since new babies were in view. We eagerly await the penguin exhibit next year which is in the area of the...More

Was pleasanlty surprised to see the size of the zoo. Very diverse "residents" along with lot's of babies. Enclosures were very habitat friendly and clean. There is also a train ride around the park, it's not just for "kids"

Although not large, the zoo did have a nice selection of animals. We were disappointed not to be able to go by the elephants as their area was under construction.
