One of the first theaters in Albuquerque. Unique mix of Native American symbols decorate venue. They've been upgrading the seating, which was quite tight.

The KiMo is pretty unique. It is a theater that whenever I have people visiting I try to take them for a play, movie or show. The history and decoration is SO New Mexico! Parking can sometimes be a challenge, since The KiMo is at the heart of downtown, so try and get there with time before any event. The staff... More

I love the Kimo; it is really unique, and very funky. The acoustics are good, and all the seats have a good view of the stage. They give tours of the building because it is so unusual!

The Kimo is a an historic jewel in the middle of downtown Albuquerque. The architecture and decoration are the epitome of the old southwest Indian style. To see a performance there is sure to be a delight, or just tour the building and step back into a bygone era.

This theatre from 1927 is incredible. it's beautiful Pueblo Deco on the outside and inside. Try to drop by after 11 am so you can tour the lobby and main auditorium. Lovely details and painting. No fee, but they ask for a donation.

The KiMo theater is a beautiful and intimate venue. It unfortunately does not have a steady stream of quality performances, but when it does, you are sure to be pleased.

I have seen shows and films here. Good spot to see anything they have going. The inside is quite interesting for an old Theatre in New Mexico. Very well done, and good history. I believe one can go look inside without a fee but when I've been there it was for a specific film or event, therefore I paid an... More

As a local resident of Alb I am often visiting The KiMo, but this year it was different, I noticed more than I had before! Used as the backdrop for the AFME 2015 commercial, and as the stage to showcase local film projects during the week-long experience, The KiMo stood above the rest with it's excellent service, great atmosphere, and...
