I've been to dozens of children's museums and this is #2 in my top 5 list. Kept our 3-year-old and 8-year-old grandchildren (and 35-year-old daughter) entertained (and educated) for hours! We could have spent an entire day here. My grandson can't wait to come back....More

I get the pleasure of taking my 2 grandkids here from time to time. The area is clean, safe, and really a great place for them to learn about the physics of many day to day occurrences. Great place for kids.

Our neighbors recommended this children's museum when they found out we were taking a trip to Albuquerque. Boy, were they right! My 5 year old loved this place so much (and so did we) that we went TWICE on our 3 day trip to Albuquerque!...More

Great for kids to get some hands on learning. Pretty much every exhibit was hands on in some way. I brought my 4 yr old niece and she really liked a lot of the stuff...i did too.

The center has free parking and is located across the street from the Natural History & Science Museum. There is a nominal admission charge (I paid $5). It is typical of discovery centers in that it is youth oriented with numerous hands-on exhibits to learn...More

Many hands on attractions to demonstrate science principles. With a university, and several government labs nearby, the center gets a lot of help not available in most cities. Only issue is that on kids holidays, the crowds make access to exhibits a challenge

Yes, I’ve been to Explora many times with children up to age 14 (so far) and a good time was had by all. I would recommend 2-3 hours, depending on how hands on your grandson is and what the me you go. Check the schedule in... More
