The Albuquerque Museum is located within a block of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History, one of the "crown jewels" of Albuquerque attractions. So I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere nearly as interesting. But I was wrong. It's huge, with an array of...More

We visited on a Sunday morning, and we were pleasantly surprised that there was no admission cost on that day. Not sure if that's true every Sunday morning--best to check. This is a lovely museum, with lots of interesting sections. And, a beautiful building as...More

The art portions of the museum are fine. But the areas focussed on NM history are the most interesting, and very well displayed.

The meseum is out of my expectation. It is very modern and beautiful. They shows history but more about how the city has changed to become it is today. Really worth to spend several hours inside.

One of favorite places. My 4 year old is a huge dinosaur fan and they got several there. My two older girls loved it as well and we always go to the Museum of Natural History and Science.

Great traveling exhibit of Da Vinci. First floor features his art with an extraordinary examination of the layered painting of the Mona Lisa. Upstairs is the real treat for us: His inventions, codex copies with his notes, items you can play with. Simply a wonderful...More

My primary interest in coming was a special event and the US-Mexico border exhibit but there really weren't any low point of my visit. The first exhibition I went through was about contemporary art/design in Africa that blew me away. It was a real treat...More
