While it is a short visit and all you see are crude little drawings through an old set of stationary binoculars that remind you of the ones you find in state parks that really feel like they shouldn't cost money (these are free though), yet...More

So this stop isn't explained very well. What are you looking for? In what direction? All it looks like is piles of rocks. Once you know where to look you can see pretty cool hieroglyphics. My grandson has a theory what newspaper rock means: people...More

Very interesting. You can look.at it close up with a viewer but I'd suggest bringing your own binoculars if possible

If you have interest in Native American Culture this is an incredible spot. This rock is covered in Petroglyphs spanning many generations. You view it from a viewpoint and there are telescopes to get a closer look.

Only seen from the three telescopes which were being hogged by two families. Save the stop and keeping on moving along.

Really not a lot to see since the rocks were at a distance and you could only stand on the platform to see them. I did take same pictures so looking at them with enlargement may be interesting.

Made the effort to park up and walk over to the platform. Was good to see through the binoculars but disappointed could get closer to view with the naked eye.

A fascinating look into antiquity. Hundreds of petroglyphs on a group of rocks viewable from an overlook. Visitors cannot access the rocks closely because of unstable ground nearby, but several free viewing scopes are provided at the site.

Worth seeing, but you can't get very close so you will need to use the free viewing scopes at the overlook. Right off the main road with easy parking.
