Beautiful place but needs help with trash being washed up on the shore.

Enjoyed seeing where the rio grande enter the sea. Beautiful shore with lots of shells. Feel like this stretch needs some friends to clear away the trash that washes ashore.

Pretty but ...

It's very pretty here as you look out on the ocean. You can drive on the beach, and we did see others picnicking and camping. It was cool to see where Rio Grande spills into the ocean...and to know Mexico is on the other side....More

Was disappointed

All reviews had said that this was an isolated part of the beach and that it was undiscovered. Well the day we were there it had been discovered. There were people everywhere. Several driving on the beach. I would be afraid to have my children...More

Miles and Miles of beach

Great big beautiful beach without much activity. I enjoyed the day looking for shells and watching the sea birds chasing the surf. The only disappointment was the trash that washes up including pill packs!

Beautiful virgin beach.

I do not really go to this beach, but when I do I love it!. It is such a virgin beach compared to the neighboring beaches of South Padre Island and Playa Baghdad. I wonder how the new SpaceX Center will affect it.

Along the beach at Boca Chica
