I don't understand the amount of trash on these beautiful beaches.....Is it lack of National Park resources or just a lack of concern?

The beaches here are very clean. Beautiful to watch sunrises or sunsets. Great to just spend the day loafing around a very clean beach. There is a Visitor's Station there with some hands-on stuff for the kids, showers, and a quickie mart to replenish food and drink before the short trip back to Corpus. So worth the short drive.

My recommendation to anyone visiting town would be to skip all attractions and straight head to the Malaquite beach! Miles long stretch of untouched, beautiful beach. The beach is extremely clean and not crowded at all. Driving on the beach was a wonderful and unique experience.

The beach has the most beautiful sand I have seen in Texas. The views are lovely, the place is incredibly clean, and the rangers kind and courteous.

Love the beach here. Clean, quiet (whenever we've come). Having shade provided is great. Bathrooms generally clean.

We were there on a cloudy day but it was still beautiful. Not very busy during the week but it was November. In the Summertime it is very busy. Good place to go.

Love this beach. But this visit the beach was closed because of high water on it so there was no beach. But we still enjoyed Malaquite anyway

I am totally prejudiced so take my review with a grain of salt. I like the pristine, natural aspect of Malaquite Beach. If you want lots of tourists, swimming pools, this beach is not for you. I grew up in Corpus Christi and remember an unpopulated beach. Malquite is as close as I can get to that. Yes, it has... More

Fun in the sun, saw surfers and families playing and having a great time. Went on a romantic relaxing moonlight walk. Had a great time here!

One of the many beaches around Corpus Christi. Great place for a stroll. It is like all the other local beaches. Easily accessable and available for all activities
