Worth the Visit

This is a good place to visit even if you don't want to fish. It's an excellent pier for fishing and very inexpensive. Military and Seniors get reduced rate

It was cheap and fun to go see the water on. Plus we ate food at the restaurant and it was delicious.

We had some time to kill, so stopped by the Bob Hall Pier at the recommendation of a local restaurateur. Unfortunately, it was extremely windy (30+ mph winds), so we didn't go out on the pier, but the employee staffing the ticket counter was very friendly and showed me pictures of some of the fish that had been caught on... On a 72 degree January day we visited this pier for the first time. It is in good condition. Lots of people were there strolling up and down in the sunshine in the middle of the week. There is a great grill and bar. It is easy to reach and not expensive to enjoy.

In my opinion this is the best and cleanest beach in Corpus Christi. The sand is well groomed and packed, the water is pretty clear, and there isn't a lot of sea weed washing up like some of the others. We loved it.

There is a restaurant on the pier and they also sell snacks at the gate. Charged by the pole and by the person. There is frozen bait available. Beach is nice around the pier. Surfers are always there around the pier. There are bathrooms and hose with cutting tables to filet your fish. No alcohol allowed on the pier is... More
