To actually be on an aircraft carrier is pretty cool. So many things to see from all the planes on the deck to displays of where this ship had been below deck along with pictures of the crew. This carriers nickname is the Blue Ghost because it had been reported sunk quite a few times. There were hand on things... More

For the history buff this is a great place to visit. Lots of Navy stuff and a collection of air planes on the deck. The Lexington is big so you need to have a few hours to walk among the history.

It was one of the few miserable days in CC. So I went up to see this old aircraft carrier. It is really well presented and lots of effort has gone into all the exhibits. I would highly recommend watching the Pearl Harbor exhibit and the 3D History of. navies. Both were really good. I ran out of time to... More

I've been visiting the Lex since it opened as a museum in over 20 years ago, and I try to go every year, if I'm in the area (I'm from the Dallas area). It never gets old to me, they're always adding, or restoring new projects on board. Each time I go, there's something new to see, and that to... More

We visited on a Monday at opening and there were only a handful of people visiting. There is a shuttle service from the street to the entrance. All levels of the aircraft carrier are available from the engine room, the mess, the officers meeting halls to the flight deck. The museum has so many aircraft from various theatres. All were... As an Air Force veteran, I was only moderately interested in visiting this aircraft carrier, but I was pleasantly surprised by rich and detailed battle history which was conveyed by the exhibits. Climbing the narrow stairs to the flight deck was fun and showed the rigors of serving on this ship. Parking was easy and the admission cost was minimal.... More

This is a "must see" in Corpus. You could spend a day onboard this great piece of American history. The best part is the wonderful volunteers onboard. They are so willing to help and tell some great stories about this beautiful ship.

This was a great tour of a very historic ship. The tour was nice & well kept. The shuttle to get to ship was really helpful. The only downfall to our visit was trying to get parking

This is a place for the young as there are many different levels and loads of steps up and down. I really enjoyed learning about the ship and all the many stories from the employees. The movie theater on board was fun . There are old planes on the deck of the boat and I understand one can rent areas... More
