Self guided tour is the way to go. Allow yourself 3-4 hours to tour the whole thing. Spent all morning there touring the whole thing and the kids loved it.

This is such a cool place to bring the family. They have elevators and wheelchairs to accommodate handicap and elderly.

You can spend a few hours with the family here without breaking the bank, Some great history here. The neatest thing about this, the kids get to touch things, this keeps them entertained throughout the whole tour.

Access to main flight deck and elevator to lower area however many inner areas will be limited due to steep narrow stairs which the sailors used to move about the ship - I don’t recall wheelchair rentals - hope that helps
