The national seashore is a bit of a drive out of North Padre Island but worth it. Nice white sandy beaches. Often no one else or just a few people there.

Avoiding the blizzards at home, I visited the PINS in December. The birdwatching was terrific, and I managed to see some I had never seen before. Also, the beach was lovely and not crowded. In addition, the handicapped access is super. I also liked the kind service in the gift shop. Don't hesitate to go if you can!!

A great experience that encompasses dunes, water, marine life & bird life. We also viewed a sea turtle release. A fabulous trip with an opportunity to drive on the beach.

Miles of undeveloped natural beach area to drive on, camp out in designated areas, walk on, look for shells, surf fish, just enjoy the beach with no houses or condos lining the beach area......feed seagulls, make sand castles, picnic........just need suntan lotion, water, food, chairs or towels, whatever you have fun with!

This place was great… Clean beaches friendly people etc. Not one of my most favorite places along this area but definitely doable. Many of the beach locations are hard to access if you do not have a 4 x 4. The houses I really need to look at as the residential areas are very beautiful

There were no National Park Rangers at the Visitor Center Desk. There was one 'sales associate' and one 'volunteer', but no uniformed National Park Rangers at the desk. This is not good enough, as I know rangers get a whole lot more training than 'sales associates' and 'volunteers' regarding how best to answer questions that visitors may have about the... More

The National Seashore is only about 20 miles south of Corpus Christi via TX358 over JFK Causeway to Park Road 22. Admission is $10/car (good 7 days) or they accept access passes. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon around Christmas when the weather was cool and mostly overcast, so the park was fairly quiet. We stopped first at Malachite Beach... More

We had alot of business to take care of in corpus Christi. With my patient. We decided to go to the beach and let my dog run. We had a awesome time running out to the beach and picking up seashells. Can't wait to go back

Really nice area that has camping sites right of the beach! Dry camping is all I saw but they do have nice dump area. The visitor center was very nice with very good displays and information on the area. Great sandy beaches!
