The Thursday night rehearsal was held in the Conference Center, offering an abundance of great seating. We enjoyed the orchestra and choir. Pictures and video are allowed. Some people were in casual wear (respectful) and others a little more dressy.

I attended the Thursday evening rehearsal and listened to/watched director, Mack Wilberg work with not only the Choir, but also the Bells on Temple Square AND the Orchestra on Temple Square. They had a brand new song they were working on, and to my complete...More

We traveled over 1000 miles to see the Tabernacle only to find it was closed in part to accommodate a large reunion. A guide suggested we try an entrance on the other side just to get a look at the pipe organ. We went to...More

I am not LDS or a fan of choir music, but I really enjoyed their performances. They work very hard and it pays off. Really an excellent choir. If you ever get the chance of listening to them, do yourself the favor and go!

It was really a great time to listen to the organ and take in the sounds! Make sure to listen closely for all the small sounds with the loud bass!

Absolutely beautiful to hear and experience!!! During the summer and Christmas Time it's held in the Conference Center. The rest of the year it's in the Tabernacle.

There is a reason that Ronald Reagan called them "America's Choir". Attending one of their concerts is a special experience. If you happen to be lucky enough to attend when they are doing a special show, then it just becomes that much better. The orchestra...More

To hear the choir in concert is remarkable. They sing usually in the Conference center which is huge. Seats are free but a challenge to secure online. Often they have a guest personality or singer, and they are top notch. You can get into a...More

We were fortunate to be in town on a Sunday morning and able to attend a free concert ! Very friendly, wonderful seating -- a little hard to hear the choir over the impressive orchestra but overall a wonderful experience.

If you are ever in Salt Lake City, this is the one thing that you simply cannot miss. It is one thing to hear this choir on a recording, but it is an entirely different, and even better experience in person. They rehearse every Thursday...More

I do not know of any guided tours from Denver to SLC. There are many places to stay in downtown Salt Lake. You might check out Airbnb as there are many of those as well around Temple Square within walking distance. There is... More
