This trail is steep, but short (3 miles one way). The views of the lake and Sundial Peak at the top are well worth the effort. Plus, the trail itself is beautiful. The fall color can be breathtaking in late summer and early fall.

Lake Blanche is a great spot. The trail is a steady climb all the way to the lake, but never really gets super steep. You just never really get a break - you gain 2700 ft in elevation so keep that in mind.
