Easy hike, but if you're from east of the Mississippi (like me), the elevation will hit you quickly. Nothing too bad though, if you're in reasonable shape. It's only .47 miles to the top. I started the hike at 8:45 am on a Tuesday and...More

Stunning views of Salt Lake and the surrounding areas! Easy hike for little legs or those a little less steady on their feet. Not a long hike and very steady/easy walking surface.

This does have good elevations but is a pretty easy climb. Great views of the city, mountains and lakes.

Very short and easy hike leading to a beautiful view over the SLC and surrounding areas. Great for kids, elder, anyone you can think of!

Enjoyed the hike up to the top. Loved seeing the entire salt lake valley from this angle. There are two trails, if you are physically able it's worth the climb to the top.

If this is your first time to SLC and if it's your first time hiking, this is an excellent intro walk and a great way to see the city. We took a taxi past the Capitol Building to the last bit of residential housing. Then...More

A few days after the Mormon pioneers arrived in the Salt Lake valley, surveyors and city planners made the short (25 mins, half-paved and half in the shade today) walk/hike up the mountain. They could see the entire valley from the small peak, and they...More

I am in my fifties and it took me about 25 minutes. No hurry, just enjoy.
