You should stop and get a free tour when you are downtown. But the highlight for me was the inspired stone display on the roof. You will see your reflection in the sculpture/engraving along with representative images of people of the world. A beautiful reminder...More

This is a massive and impressive structure, seating about 22,000 people in a room without a single pillar. Beautiful and breathtaking, and the events held here are always uplifting.

This is a place that you should visit, take a tour and if possible attend an event. We attended the 'Be One' Celebration and it was incredible! The choir was amazing as well as all the other performers. It was a very delightful evening.

Free guided tours offered by the LDS missionaries. Great way to learn about the construction and story behind the building. Get to go to the roof and gain a great view of the city.

If you are in Salt Lake City take the time to stop and look. Beautiful buildings and grounds. If possible try to schedule around a choir practice.

I did not use the parking garage. I can recommend using the rail system to get around. I used to and from the airport in Salt Lake City. Clear and concise markings for where one would want to get on and off the train.
