If you're visiting Temple Square, taking a tour of the Conference Center is worth the time, whether you're a member of the church or not. The full tour takes over an hour, which in my opinion may be a bit long. We had an abbreviated...More

The LDS Conference Center is much more than the name appears to convey. We had planned to attend an organ recital at the Tabernacle, but that performance was moved to the large auditorium in the Conference Center. The name fails to convey how large and...More

OK. The Mormon Tabernacle choir sings here most Sundays. Google for exact dates and hours. Practice is at 8:30 am. Doors close at 9:15 for their weekly taping of "Music and the Spoken Word" that has been broadcast on radio since 1929. We attended a...More

Great tour with a great guide! Was able to see where services are held and where the choir sings. The roof top views are spectacular. The views alone are worth the trip. Seriously, don't miss this!

I wish I could remember our tour guides name (you have to go with a tour guide, so be prepared). We let her know we only had a limited time to walk through due to our conference agenda, so she told us what our options...More

Saw some folks on the roof and I wanted to take in the view. I entered the center and was greeted by several folks eager to help. I was assigned to Mary Ellen, a sister, who took me on a private tour, free! She took...More

I did not use the parking garage. I can recommend using the rail system to get around. I used to and from the airport in Salt Lake City. Clear and concise markings for where one would want to get on and off the train.

We enjoy both Temple Square and the conference center. If you get to the conference center early (around 8:15 or 8:30 am, I think) on Sunday morning, you can sit through the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast of "Music and... More
