The Hogle Zoo is simply an amazing zoo visit for kids and adults who enjoy watching the faces of children take in the beauty of animals in a gorgeous setting.

We went on a special event night for a 21+ crowd. They had beer & wine available for purchase throughout the zoo. The zoo is small in comparison to other major cities however the exhibits are nice & well kept. Good times.

We got there in the first hour when they had opened, a little disappointed that we didn't get to see many of the animals, they were not up and active. Not that much to see anymore!

I highly recommend going when the zoo opens in the morning. Sunday's are the best! We went and it was still cool and comfortable out, parking was great, and there were not a ton of people there. If you have small children I highly recommend...More

Myself and my grandchildren love the zoo. For this reason I get a Zoo membership. This Zoo can be visited all year long. We love Christmas and the lights. We even get to make Smores over the firepits. At Thanksgiving we see Feed the Beasts...More

We took our young grandchildren to the zoo. It was a great activity. We only stayed for 3 hours because of the summer heat and walking the hills at and elevation more than what we are used to. In the heat, some of the animals...More

Went as a family. No family rate! Prices are steep and wouldn't pay that much normally or won't visit for another five years or more so I can save up. Large variety of animals that you wouldn't see at many zoos. Their remodel was well...More

The zoo is located outside of the main part of town, at the beginning of Emigration Canyon. It's a small zoo (about 42 acres) but thoughtfully laid out to highlight the various countries/area in the world and the creatures that inhabit them. (I was especially...More

Took my granddaughter here for the day. They have added on quite a bit since I had been there last. They have improved all the living conditions for the animals and added lots of interactive activities. It's a great zoo! The elephants will always be...More

I'd agree with Carrie D. on the rolling paths. I suspect you can see most of the critters on the flattest parts of the zoo, though. I'd contact the zoo directly, if you're thinking of trying to reserve a cart and ask the... More

My wife and I spent about two hours and saw it all. We didn't stop for any of the shows, and it did rain on us a bit, so we hid out under cover for a few minutes. We also took time to eat lunch. We don't have kids we were... More
