Island of open space in a big city. Residents of SLC are lucky to get outdoors and take advantage of Liberty Park and all it has to offer. Even a simple leisurely stroll through the park is enjoyable.

Go to Liberty Park, the best and oldest park in Salt Lake City. Close to downtown. There is something there for everyone. Carnival rides, aviary, tennis, boating, feeding the ducks, walking, great kids playground, carnival food. What else could you need?

There are some sketchy parks in SLC, but this isn't one of them. It can be busy, but that doesn't take away from all it has to offer - shade under large trees, walking/running path made of woodchips, another path that is paved, the Tracy Aviary in its interior, birds, fountains, BBQ stoves, water for your dog, and bathrooms. I... More

We just found out about this park last month, and walked around part of it to check it out. Even in winter, it was an enjoyable walk. The summer must be beautiful and fun, with all the trees, a small "creek" with splash areas for the kids, plenty of space to play and the Tracy Aviary is there. Easy and... More

Liberty Park is a great place to visit, especially on 24 July. The park is filled with vendors! A Native American powwow! That morning is the biggest parade Salt Lake has. And the fireworks in the evening are spectacular! If you have children you might want to bring something for them to get wet in, as there is a free... More

I've been going here since I was little. From hanging out and feeding the ducks, to renting paddle boats, to riding rides and getting some snacks, to watching fireworks and enjoying the booths of the Native American celebration, Liberty Park offers a lot. The park is huge, second only to Sugarhouse Park in size, and attracts a diverse population who... More

Just about anything that you can think of for a park to have, they do! The kids playgrounds are amazing, especially the one on the North side of the park. There is a restaurant in the park. Tracy Aviary is located in the park as well. No matter what you want to do, Liberty Park has it! There is even... More

One of the best parks I've visited. It's a great place to hang out at with friends and family. Also it's a great park for getting some exercise done. They got s great track for people to jog/run on. And also a great area for those who just want to walk or get on their skate board or roller blades.... More

This is probably the best park in Salt Lake City, it's large, lots of things to do within the park, and lots of space. Great for summer barbecues, volleyball with friends, or a bike ride, but it's great all year round. The Tracy aviary within is must see. Be careful driving through of people riding bikes or running, also it's... More
