In the short time we visited my husband was able to research his family history viewing documents that were only available to staff at the center. It was so interesting that my son wants to continue the ancestry search once we get home!

Did international search for grandparents, and Great etc. Very knowledgeable staff multi lingual in Polish, Russian, English. Very helpfull. I would go back again to try searching for other records.

This library is one of historical jewels of Salt Lake City. It opens for visitor pages of heroes and common people of Utah. You will see a lot of household tools, hand made goods, furniture of the first settlers, numerous pictures and stories.

This is the most wonderful library! It has the largest genealogical repository in the country. Staffed with missionaries, they want nothing more than to help you. My husband received excellent service translating Old German language records.

I cannot say enough about the Library except to say that it is another national treasure located in SLC Utah. A must visit in addition to the National Parks.

Ancestry is the cheapest way to do DNA testing with many features, then you can cross-list on several of the other sites for free and get more info.
