We were not sure we found the right place at first... but once we did it was awesome. Went at low tide to walk out onto the beach area and explore. Such a cool experience! Must see

This whole area is a recreation area, Salt Creek has good parking, some nice buildings, and is not too far out of the way

This is a well run county park with camping, a playground, covered kitchen area, restrooms, historic bunkers and a lovely beach with tide pools in the rocks containing all kinds of interesting sea life. Beautiful views and swimmable beach...also hiking.
