Great put in and take outs for kayaking on the Ocmulgee River. We love the trails and the new work out area is awesome. Hands down the best park in Middle Georgia.

We live here in Macon. We love walking here but remember that you are in Macon ga . There have multiple cars broken into. Shootings happen every other day. Keep your head on a swivel and if you are a women don't walk alone.

comfortable and wide concrete paths meandering through the woods by the river and through the woods. Great place to stretch your legs, have a picnic, or be a redneck and play in the river. Good parking and overall a great place to go.

I've never seen signs posted. My husband smokes there although he's always polite in staying away from the play area.
