A small Museum but some interesting exhibits. Never thought how interested I would be in a turn of last century washing machine. Definately worth a look and staff are most helpful.

Lots of treasures to see! Big emphasis on the effects of the earthquake that devastated the region a while back.

Housed in the old post office, this place is filled with memorabilia of the past, eathquakes, railways, bridges and above all those wonderful people who lived here and were real pioneers. A smashing place to spend an hour just browsing.

Really well put together and resourceful info on area history. Amazed at different pieces of info for a small town. Important opportunity to view a towns history and way of paying respects, particularly for those who have died in earthquake.

Thank Angela C
