Having been there previously and thoroughly enjoyed our meal we were delighted to see vouchers on Grab One. For $42 (for 2) we received a wine tasting of 6 different wines and a beautiful platter to share plus a bottle of Pinot Gris to either take home or drink there. Needless to say after tasting 6 wines we opted to... More

We went there today for a wine tasting which were great, and an amazing lunch platter for two plus a bottle of wine. Platter was exceptional, staff very friendly, funny and, knowledgeable about the wines and we will definitely be going back.

If you're younger don't expect to be taken seriously at this place. We booked and got there early (before anyone else in fact) and were told the place was going to fill up fast so there will be no room to seat us and do our tasting.. I will add again, we did book and the place was empty at... More

This is a misunderstanding. The person who booked your group booked for a wine tasting at 11am for 9 people. If he had said at the time he wanted to book a table for lunch he would have been told as several before and after his call were, that we were fully booked. Your group was given a full wine... More

Food fresh and tasty. Found wine selection slim. One platter was for four costs $80, I personally think that was a lot of money for what we got - will leave it up to you to decide.

We are glad to hear you appreciated the food. A lot of labour and love, as well as local and quality ingredients go into it. The comments we most commonly receive are how beautiful the platters are, how filling and what good value they are for the money. "The Famous Winetaster's Platter" has that name because so people have described... More

Idyllic location, excellent food and good wine. What more could you want? The scenery is outstanding and the tasting food platter was very enjoyable. Had the wine flight which was a sample of five wines and you can select the wines. Well worth a visit.

Very pleasant dining experience in a lush, country setting was experienced yesterday. Parking was easy while reception was warm and friendly. Very generous shared platter with tempting selections of dips, delicious salads, olive oil, (In house) prosciutto, salami accompanied by wonderfully fresh breads was certainly satisfying for lunch. Other selections were also available. The wine offered to taste prior to... More

This winery is located in a very rural location. The restaurant was quite large and looked over the grape vines. The tasting covered 3 whites and 3 reds and, as a bonus, a port. The lunch included in our package was served on very interesting wooden platters and had a lot of choice. Good sized car park and very easy... More

We stopped of as part of a birthday celebration for lunch. The 3 of us shared a platter and I would say it is the best lunch patter we have ever had. No too much of a focus on meat and cheese but you could add more of them. A creative twist on delish little vegetable bowls relishes pickles etc... More

We stopped at this winery on our way to Kerikeri and what a pleasant surprise. My two daughters and I had a lovely lunch. The food was amazing and the wine exceptional. This was our first taste of New Zealand and we were spoiled so quickly!

Everything was great: the wines (i loved that you could compose your own flight) the platter (absolutely delicious olive oil by the way) and the view sitting outside in the sun overlooking the ranks, in sum: perfect!
