This bus tour was a real find. Parked in their secure yard and boarded the large wheeled bus. Robin was our driver for the day, he was most informative about the various areas we drove through and kept the Kiwi jokes coming, keep it up Robin, good to hear them especially the 4 parachutes one. First we drove along Ninety... More

We travelled at the end of the season, end-March, and booking was essential even then. At 50 NZD this is excellent value with a number of stops at attractive locations on the way to Cape Reinga, one for lunch (basic, but included in the price), then boogie boarding on the sand dunes and a ride back along 90 Mile Beach.

My boyfriend and I booked this tour in the office in Kaitia with one of the owners. She was so lovely and gave us a brief history on the Kauri tree and on what our trip would be like. We got picked up by Simon, who was the funniest tour guide and made us all feel very comfortable. The tour... More

Cape Reinga is the most northerly point of New Zealand. Take a tour, don't bother to drive the 90 miles and back. Tour gives you plenty of time to walk down to the Cape. It is a downhill walk but if you are willing to push a wheelchair, that is possible, but it is uphill on the way back! The... More

Great tour guide, full of Maori knowledge. A big bus made for running along the 90Km beach. Good stops at various sites. Great slides on the boogie boards down the dunes (even if I did dislocate my finger and scrape my face - my own fault, just having fun) Take this tour, don't think you can take your own car,... Full day tour including lunch for $50, what's not to like. Pick & drop off at your hotel. Our guide Simon was excellant, he kept going all day. Highlight was of course Te Rerenga Wairua, what a magical place, after that the dune riding. A hole in the rock to rival the bay of islands, didn't even know it was... More

We experienced all the Northland had to offer on the well run day trip by Harrisons. 7 hours in total driving up 90 mile beach then on to the cape and lunch provided at a great little bay up top. Well run with good commentary. And all this for $55.00 per person.

For the cost this is the best tour in New Zealand. Guide, Robin, was informative and engaging with everyone on the tour. The time at the location where the Tasman Sea and Pacific meet, sand sledding and 70 KM drive along the beach we're the highlights for us.

Went up to the Cape with Harrisons....great trip and fantastic value. For $50 this must be one of the best value trips in NZs tourist industry. For me the highlight was the stop at Cape Reinga - magnificent - if you haven't done it - do it! Harrisons themselves were great. From booking, pickup, trip itself and drop off all... More
