We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We took an excursion to this park from our cruise ship via a local vendor. Our two hour hike was strenuous and took us into the Atlantic rain forest. We saw the local floral, fauna, and rain forest river on this tour into this park. The road to the park's entrance is not good so be prepared for a bone-jarring ride.

Very dangerous dogs in irregular house construction right next to the agua branca waterfall. No signs at all about it. I wouldn’t reccomend visiting it while the irregular construction is there.

Some years ago I went to Hawaii and took a trip to a village called Hanna in the island of Kauai. The main attraction of that trip is the road that crosses a tropical forest. It was beautiful. But now, after going to the Ilhabela State Park I've really known a real tropical area! It is fantastic, much more beatiful than the road to Hanna! I recommend!

Visit this state park if you are interested in a strenuous hiking experience that is very rewarding for its cascading waterfalls and dense foliage. I was with a group (20+) and the consensus was "strenuous" is the right word - it is uphill and we were hiking in the mid-summer heat & humidity - dress appropriately for mosquitos (although I only saw one after purchasing enough repellant to cover the island).

The 12k walk was more demanding than report had led me to believe but this in no way detracted from the experience.

The perfect way to arrive at Bonete!

Such an awesome park! Loved visiting Gato Falls and Castelhanos beach on my jeep tour with Ilhabela Jeep Tour!

Driving through the state park is a beautiful, fun experience. The view from the lookout at the top of the mountain is amazing. The trail is somewhat rough, however, and a 4x4 vehicle is necessary.

The island is fascinanting, has really good beaches and restaurants. The park is worth visiting. The best way to get there is by ship (there are many companies that offer this). Nature not damaged at all

A good day on the beach the Atlantic side of the island is accessed via a Jeep trip through the rain forest. An experience well worth the trip. We were advised not to eat the fried food which I think was good advise.
