Great beach off beaten path, has restrooms. Shade trees near water if you did not want to be in sun. Small kids had a blast!

Went here twice to snorkel. The first time was a little cloudy near shore but cleared up further out. The second time was calmer and much clearer. There's some good snorkelling on the right side along the cliffs. There were plenty of divers here as...More

A port where early settlers who lived in this area shipped their cattle and produce to the other islands. An information plaque detailed that in 1885, one ship was said to carry 75 chickens, 30 pigs, 30 dogs, 20 turkeys, 1 pair oxen, 1 mule,...More

This is a nice snorkeling site, but i could find a place to rent snorkeling gear, so i stayed a little bit and left. But it looked like it has some nice snorkeling.

Went for the snorkeling and found an attractive small park setting with adequate parking. There was a freshwater shower and a nice bathroom on site. Gentle water conditions and excellent micro-beach for getting in and out of the water. Would recommend!

Small beach with 2 sandy entries to crystal clear water. With a rock wall to your left there is always something to see (bring your snorkel gear with you). Bonus is that there are real toilets (not a Sani-can) and there are showers!

If you want to see turtles come here. Makena Landing is a great place to snorkel. There’s a great sandy entry to the cove which makes it so much easier to get your snorkel gear on. I stayed on the right side of the cove....More

Nice beach along the road. Good snorkelling spot. Saw many fish and a turtle. Commercial snorkeling tours use this spot if ocean is rough elsewhere. Washrooms and shower on site. Parking along the road and also a parking lot.
