I wish I could visit this beach again right now. We had a blast here and wish we had known about it sooner in our trip! We went earlier in the day, a little before noon. The drum circle started to pick up around 3-4pm,...More

You access the beach by going to the parking lot for Big Beach in Makena State Park. When you reach Big Beach, go all the way to the right where you'll see what looks like a 25-foot cliff. However, there is a gap in the...More

Visited this beach a couple of times so I could enhance my European all over tan. Great location just a few miles from our hotel. The water was lovely to swim in. As others have commented, you do have to climb over the rocks to...More

Defiantly a locals beach and clothing optional. Won't bring the kiddos and won't go if you are uptight.

20 years ago, we were on our Honeymoon on Maui. Feeling brave, we decided to check out Little Beach. It was so gorgeous. It was very hot, went in the water to cool off. I was nervous- there were big waves. My new husband encouraged...More

Snorkeling is awesome - great reef and excellent fish/turtles. Not worth a trip for just the snorkeling unless you are at Big Beach (right next door). Make sure you are comfortable with nudity

Beautiful beach and ocean just next to big beach. Although illegal in state, most people go naked on this beach. A throw back to 60's and 70's. I do not think police enforce the nudity ban. Be careful of stolen property. You park at big...More

It depends on what time of day you want to visit. If you are visiting during daylight hours, then park in the first parking lot to Big Beach. That parking lot closes at 7:45 p.m. If you are interested in the nightlife... More
