The food and plentiful is excellent and the grounds are very nice. The only problem we had with it was the sense of being rushed throughout. Plenty of serving lines to begin with but they began concentrating into a central location way to soon. Drinks were included but not the best. The after dinner show was excellent. They told the... Do not listen to any negative reviews. Everything about this was fabulous. The food, the friendly staff from beginning to end. THe gorgeous dancers-male and female. There were lovely hulas and beautiful costumes. The fire dancers were top notch. The acrobat on the silk ropes or scarves was beautiful. The guys who played music sang like angels and the lady... First of all... this is not an authentic Hawaiian Luau in my opinion. Electric guitars and fake neon color plastic custom skirts?? We decided to try this on since the tickets were at Costco (~$86 at the store vs ~$90 online). This was my 6th luau and oh boy the absolutely worst. Since our Moorea trip, my daughter even started... I've been to 10+ luaus and this ranks in the top two. Expect the expected, yet with a lot better quality food, entertainment and atmosphere.

A luau is a great way for a family or large group to experience Hawaiian culture. The advertised yard games and hula lessons where not available. Instead, vendors set up shop around the venue. :-( Even though you buy tickets in advance, tables are assigned on a first come first served basis. Hint: Arrive early to sign in and get... More

Our concierge recommended the The Grand Luau at Honua'ula to us and it didn't disappoint. We arrived at around 4:15 for checkin where we received our table assignment and passes, and were told to come back at 5-5:30 for seating. We chose to hang around the area and enjoyed the views from the beach before joining the queue just before... More

My wife and I have traveled to 72 countries in the world and pride ourselves on hitting the highlights of every place you go to. We have been to Maui 4 times before and always passed on the Luau thinking it was just a tourist trap. WE WERE WRONG. The Grand Luau was a family friendly and very entertaining event.... More

We don't normally book a luau but with a special three generation week in Maui we figured it was worth the gamble. Our Grand Luau evening was a gratifying success. From grandchildren at 9 months, 4 and 6 years through the middle generation and on to us grandparents it was lovely, entertaining and culturally satisfying. The show was an engaging... More

While it's not the traditional Luau I have been to in the past, on the beach, it was great family fun. Can't beat the open bar and the food on the buffet was tasty. Beautiful sunset in the background. Entertaining with dancers, swing acrobats, music, and fire routine. Quite enjoyable.

We were originally booked for the Feast at Lele in Lahaina, but after driving to Lahaina one night for dinner and realizing how far a drive it was from our hotel in Wailea, we decided to find a closer luau to our hotel. The reason we booked the Feast at Lele was for the assigned seats, individual tables and waiter... More
