A very interesting building although - like much of Cuba - in need of restoration. When we went the ceiling was undergoing repair so you could only walk around the edges. As usual in Cuba you pay to take photos.

The theatre is very impressive and I suggest a visit of it. You can visit it paying a little ticket and admire a lot of artistic objects inside.

This theatre is a step back in time and is stunning. It is in need of repair so all visitors can help this financially. There was a £5 charge for taking photos which I thought was extortionate.

We sadly did not get to see a performance however you can spend an hour admiring the building itself, it does need a bit of attention to maintenance.

The show was about 1/2 hour long. But we were involved in a tour. If you go for the regular show I think it may be longer.
