We go to this resort at least 5 times a year, our last visit was in February and our next trips there are panned for end of March, Easter weekend. long weekend of May, summer and long weekend of September. This resort has it all onsite, mountains, lake, beach, private island, golf, pool, restaurant, no need to go anywhere else!... More

Thanks for your review and for making us blush. Always nice to read about guests who enjoy their time with us so much that we become a staple destination. We hope this continues for many years to come as Calabogie Peaks prepares to expand into something bigger and better than ever. More

Well groomed and well maintained. Higher vertical than Blue Mountain, but do not expect long Tremblant-like runs. Staff (mainly from Australia) are very friendly and talkative. Our 8 yera old had a lesson which was quite professional but fun.

The hills were very icy. We rented our equipment and twice the bindings broke on two separate pairs skis. When this happened the person had to be brought down the mountain on a sled and the second time the other person had to walk back down the mountain because there was no one around who knew how to fix the... Within an hours' drive from Ottawa, this is one of the best hills. More than a dozen runs, quick chairlifts, and a nice chalet.

My wife and I visited this ski resort on Friday Feb 17th - just before the Family Day long weekend. The resort was busy but nothing like it will be over the long weekend. Our entire day was perfect if every way. The staff are friendly and helpful with the lifts. The food is adequate in the cafeteria and priced... More

The hill is the best kept secret. Everything from the lodge area to the ski runs is family friendly and great! Awesome staff running the facility.

People in the GTA wouldn't understand... but you can ski the biggest vertical (yes, that's not saying much! lol) in Ontario with no lift lines!

Spent my day on the kids' carpet, getting the family into shape. While I was tempted to checkout more of the mountain, I was a little discouraged from buying my own full-mountain lift pass with waning day-light. It would be nice if there was a discount on full-mountain passes for parents/people who already paid $17/person on carpet life tickets.

Always wanted to check out this a little out of the way ski resort. Well worth it. Beautiful trails, lots of character, great views, friendly staff and locals. Only negative would be the lifts are quite slow compared to what we are used to such as say Blue Mountain.
