When I want to get away from it all, I go to the Astor Theatre to see a movie or a live show and just am entertained.. I have participated in concerts there myself.. For a small town theatre, I am pleased that they bring in great entertainment from outside as well as support local theatre groups and singers.

What a charming place to view a concert of a recital. This grand lady of a performing arts building has aged well. A was pleasantly surprised by the acoustics in the building. You could hear clearly from any seat in the house - including the balcony. The interior has been magnificently restored. I would highly recommend touring the building but... More

Biennial events the Liverpool International... More

This whole facility is amazing. The sound and projection equipment have just been upgraded. Sound is now Dolby 7.1. Movies and shows are all first rate. Ticket prices are excellent and staff are very helpful. This is a gem in the Liverpool area.

One of Canada's oldest continuously operating theatres, the Astor is a gem in the heart of Queens County. The interior is magnificent, with incredible acoustics. The seating is all old-school fabric seating, wooden floors, and walls covered with the posters of all the performances put on by the local amateur theatre group, the Winds of Change. Recent upgrades to the... More

This is the oldest theatre in Canada that has had performances since early 1900. It hosts the biannual International amateur theatre festival .It also hosts many great performances during the year.
