Did the horse drawn carriage tour on a Saturday around 11am. Got our tickets at the Visitor's Center. $20/adult. We parked across the street from where the tour starts. Since it was a weekend, we didn't get towed or ticketed for parking in the government lot. The ticket is not specific to a time slot. We just parked as the... More

We went for the carriage ride on a Wednesday morning. Our driver was Randy and he did a super job. He gave us plenty of info and we thoroughly enjoyed his humor. Would highly recommend you to take the time to do this trip.

We went there multiple times over our week stay in Natchez. Not one time did we find the carriage there ready to take anyone on a ride. We did find a white board with an approximate time for a return. That never panned out either. The first time we went, we found 7 other people waiting for the driver. We... More

My wife and I took this gentle tour around Natchez first thing in the morning and what a pleasant experience it was. To be honest I can't remember the guys name who drove but he was both informative and funny as we wound our way along streets filled with fine Antebellum homes. He imparted his chat in a kind of... After waiting 55 mins and being talked to rudely by Randy (he said he was just "picking") for a carriage ride, my elderly dad asked when we would go because his hip hurt--Randy told us to get off. Stunned we asked if he would our money back and he said "yeah". I had to call the owner to get her... More

To all Visitors. Do this tour first on arrival to town. Great introduction to Natchez, excellent photo ops from the carriage, plenty of history, humour and laughs....love the story of the drunken elephant rampage! $20 per person 45 min trip. Thanks Randy you are a fab ambassador for this town, and steady ole Champ...you did a good job too. A... More

Had so much fun on the carriage tour. We toured right before dark. Not as warm and was nice seeing the lights in all the old homes as we headed back. Guy knew tons of information and had a wonderful sense of humor. The horse was very sweet and well taken care of as well which is a plus! Darline... More

A wonderful relaxed tour of downtown Natchez. James, our guide knows all the sites and all the local lore and people and his horse Willie is a real trooper, Confederate as one would expect. Highly recommended.
