We visited the cemetery killing time and it was such a beautiful place. The sites dating back to the 1800 were truly a perfect end to a day of touring homes. I recommend it if you have some extra time while in town.

The Natchez Cemetery is a lovely cemetery with an assortment of stones and crypts including angel statues. My great great great aunt Mary Fitz Randolph Lewis is buried here alongside her husband. With the nice maps and Findagrave I was able to find her grave...More

Find the graves with some interesting stories: man buried in a rocking chair, storm cellar grave, and Louise the unfortunate. The map provided was confusing and you will probably want to get the dvd to guide you. This cemetery is a lot of navigating and...More

Very interesting. My husband and I drove through on our own. The feeling was surreal - looking at the dates on tombstones baffled us.

So much varied history in one place ! One could spend a month here and not scratch the surface. Not only city history but state and national.

Very interesting!!! We did find that the numbers on the map and the numbers on the graves were different but we still found what we were looking for!

We were looking for something to do, spent about 30 minutes riving through the cemetery in the early morning. Narrow roads, beautiful ironwork

We had heard about this and read about it in Greg Iles books. My wife had a book on Natchez that told a lot of stories about it. We found it interesting and very beautiful

We came here to see the grave site with the stairs going down, but saw so much more. The Confederate burial place at the front is quite breathtaking.

The cemetery is well marked and well maintained. There are several famous monuments located there as the "Turning Angel".

I really do not know this answer. If I were you, I would contact the Natchez Historical Society. There is a small building that I think is staffed during the week. We were there on the weekend, so could not tell you the... More
