You can park under trees, which is great on a hot sunny day. The whole area was bustling with happy people enjoying the summer. There was little or no litter and plenty of wildlife to look at. We didn't use the cafe but it looked inviting. Looking forward to going back.

Cosmeston is great for all the family, two beautiful lakes surrounded by country walks, family picnic areas and an adventure playground provide the perfect backdrop for a family day out. On site there is a cafe that is well stocked should you decide not to picnic. A huge pull to Cosmeston is the Medieval Village. It stands on the exact... More

Well it's ferking cold. The trees are bare but the need for some quite time away from the city (and the 21 year old that knows everything!) has got me into my boots for a muddy walk around the lakes here. Plenty of wildlife here. Felt like the pied piper being followed by a gaggle of assorted birds, all anxious... More

A very nice place for walks with lots of wildlife. It has a big carpark and cafe. I haven't been to the old town thing, think you need to pay for that.

Cosmeston is always a must. For everything. Whether winter or summer, its just such a nice walk. Whether with friends or family or even a nice romantic walk. It has a nice cafe or you could bring a picnic/BBQ. To walk around the lake isn't long but if you wanted to walk further on I'm sure you could spend a... More

This is a great place for a peaceful walk around the lake. I'd give it 5/5 but the cafe lets it down. The staff weren't the friendliest, the prices are a bit high for the quality of the food and it's took quite a while to be served even though there weren't many people there. Highly recommend the park, just... More

Spent a few pleasant hours down at Cosmeston Lakes. Couldn't believe how large and interesting the place was, worth a visit. Good for birdwatchers or to have a relaxing Walk.
