Been here a few times and it's a great way to spend a morning followed by lunch in the town. It's a bit of a mix of car boot/antique fair and market. There are a few bargains to be had, such as the stallholder who offered me one dress for 15 euro or two for 30 euro. Can't beat that can you? We never arrive very early and there is always somewhere to park. Altogether a really good experience.

Unfortunately I didn't have enough time. Small enough compared to other markets I've been at but great selection of Italian clothes at reasonable prices. Also bags, household and food.

Parking was mayhem, park at the clot (next to the police station) and walk up. The walk is lovey through the traditional streets. Lots of the usual crap on the market itself, but the food aspect is great. Get yourself some churros and olives

We descended on the weekly Javea market one Thursday morning recently to check out the local atmosphere. We parked right under the market in a two store underground car park which was quite full and very tight. Oh, they have toilets in the car park which is great. The market itself is a bustling affair with a mixture of food and vegetables, textiles and typical stores selling touristy trinkets. We couldn't resist the fresh fruit which was beautiful. I could have bought the whole store selling many different varieties of olives - super. We liked the fact that this attracts a healthy mixture of locals as well as international tourists, many of whom congregated around the outside tables of the numerous bars and cafes around this part of Javea old town.

Lovely market, worth visiting as you get the real local market feel. Mixed stalls, fresh food, toiletries, clothes, leather etc Go early, park near the outside as the centre gets pretty gridlocked. We went in for 8.30, came away at 12 having had 3 coffee stops Personally I loved the local atmosphere:) bought fresh bread, cheese, tomatoes and ham - our lunch was perfect.
