it is an interesting visit ... excellent views from the top. You can see the whole port and the Montgó. There is a small exhibition inside the main tower. Also very nice to climb the stairs to the top. I didn't like the 3€ per person that you need to pay to go inside. I think it is more like... More

Go by sightseeing train up to Denia castle and leave it with a walk down to town. It`s a short way down to the cityhall (ajuntamiento), then reach the marques de campo and follw the street down to the harbour. Very nice shorttrip.

We only left a few hours to explore and think that was a mistake. The place is very big and there are many interesting, beautiful places to visit. There is also a cafe to stop and eat. Great views of the city and port, and near many great places to eat and explore in Denia.

If your staying are visiting Denia please take some time out to visit the castle in the centre of town, will take about one hour to complete plus a cafe at the top of the castle which is very nice for a food and drink.

Went to Denia with 4 friends for a day out. We spent most of the morning in the Castle. It was only 2 Euros each at the pensioner rate and well worth the money. It involved quite a bit of climbing, but if you paced yourself it was well worth it as once at the top the views were absolutely... More

Conveniently located right above downtown Denia shopping district, the castle was a nice way to spend an hour strolling the grounds. Only a few Euros entry fee and some nice photo opportunities, only complaint was info in museum and on displays was only in Spanish.

quite a walk to the top but worth it for the views. Under restoration so the top part was shut and some paths a bit tottery. Go early for a less hot experience and to have the place virtually to yourself.

Adult entry is 3 euros. For that you get a castle walk and a archeology museum. Lovely restaurant on top with amazing views. Well worth a look

Lovely castle, when you are at the top you have fabulous views over the town and sea. It is in course of some restoration and more of the paths need doing. It requires lots of climbing and steep paths so only go if you are prety mobile.
