It's a short walk to the cliff dwellings. It would have been nice to have some telescopes to see up high. The diorama of what it was probably like back in the day was interesting and it was a nice, peaceful walk. I don't know...More

Amazing native peoples home built into the mountain rock. Scenic Place throughout. Short way from the freeway and well worth the time. Cute gift shop as well.

Enjoyed brief stop here on way to Sedona from Phoenix. Short walk to see castle. Best part was NPS volunteer who talked to us for 10-15 minutes answering questions and offering history lesson.

Always wanted to visit this place so it was wonderful if only for that reason. However, you cannot get as close as it appears in many pictures. Take a camera with a zoom and binoculars to really get a good look at the castle itself....More

I spent between 1-2 hours there (I also like the indoor exhibits). We did not have chance to visit Tuzigoot.

No. There is a gently slipping walkway that would be appropriate for a walker though. The "ruins" are not extensive and the path is quite short.

We traveled from Prescott and did not stop in Jerome, but we did the castle and the well in about 2-2.5 hours. And you cannot go up into the castle. Walking tours stopped when geologists deemed it unsafe.
