This is a lovely park, with campgrounds handy, picnic sites sprinkled through, and of course hikes. While AllTrails calls these medium, they are on the easy side for those used to rocky woodland walks. The longest is Yellow, at seven miles. These are definitely not...More

My wife and I make it a point to hike every weekend. Last weekend, we visited Gambrills State Park after seeing some great trail reviews on an app. The park is not crowded, well organized, and easy to find parking. Several trails of varying difficulty...More

Gambrill is not a bad park for a local hike, although many of the trails are relatively non-descript. There is plenty of parking and good signage. The green and blue trails are not bad; the yellow is the longest but it is also the least...More

This park has some great trails. The trails are for the most part away from the road so the sound pollution is minimal.

As a typical state campground, it's better than many, but the Kelly's as camp hosts make it wonderful. They keep an eye on things, and just run a very tight -- and tidy -- ship. They're not here long so don't know what it will...More

We just spent two nights in the campground at Gambrill State Park. We stayed in one of the four rustic camper-cabins. They also have regular campsites for campers or tents. It's a pretty, woodsy campground with a well-maintained bath house. The main activity at Gambrill...More

Sorry for delay. I did a drive through the sites yesterday. #16 is one of the larger sites and is a pull through. Very nice. I don't drive an rv, but it looks like a 22 wouldn't be a problem
