Lots to see here. Inside all sorts of memorabilia from the railroad days. Outside engines, cars, and equipment from the days when railroads was how most everyone traveled.

This was a disappointing visit as you could not actually get into the trains, The museum was a collection of rooms with old equipment. I'm sure for people who have worked with the equipment it would be prove interesting but to the general public is...More

My son is a HUGE train fan. Even though the museum itself was closed (GOod Friday) he could still climb on the engines and cars outside. Really glad we made this stop for him.

The train station looks like it was just remodeled. There are several old locomotives on display in parking lot. The displays and exhibits were great to look at.

We liked seeing the train cars and museum in Barstow. There is a wealth of history to learn about at the museum. It is nearby the very busy many multi-track railroad area of Barstow.
