This is a no-fee national park that spans Concord, Lincoln, and Lexington. The Visitor Center has an excellent multi-media program "The Road to Revolution" that plays every 30-minutes. The Visitor Center is a 4-minute pleasant walk from the parking lot. Rangers are very helpful. The...More
I'm having a hard time knowing how to rate this - probably somewhere between 3 and 4. There really isn't much to it, and one just drives up the road to various pull outs to walk the trail a bit and see points of interest....More
On a VERY HOT day during our Boston visit, we drove to where Sam Adams, Paul Revere, and their fellow Patriots dared to stand up against the tyrant, King George III. We stood where those first shots of the Revolution were fired on April 19,...More

Excellent film that gave a great overview of the beginning of the war and really put it all into perspective. Wish I saw this visitor center first before seeing everything else. Nice visitors center, probably my favorite from the 3 or 4 we saw today.
You'll need a day to walk / drive to see the history of this place. The place where the shot was heard around the world! Capture place of Paul Revere. Houses of famous writers... This is well maintained park near a quaint town.
We watched the multimedia presentation ("The Road to Revolution") and it was fantastic, easy to understand and very informative. Definitely watch before going to the North Bridge or other places within the park. One very weird thing...there are no trash cans. So don't think you...More
