The Long House has a nice collection of archeological remains with enough of them being in a good enough condition to enjoy.

The Best hike out of them all in Mesa Verde NP. This place is magnificent and majestic! Truly my favorite, plenty of time to take pictures and tour takes you in and out. If you can only do one hike do that one?

My husband and I bought tickets for this tour when we entered the park for the next morning...I'd advise choosing the first hike of the day when it's as cool as it's going to be and no one is ahead of you at the site...More

This great tour is at Wetherill Mesa so it will take you a while to drive here but it's well worth it. Keep in mind that it's about a 2 1/4 mile hike with lots of steps and a steep trail that might be hard...More

This cliff dwelling is accessible only with a Park Ranger led tour. The site itself was terrific and while we learned a lot - the Ranger's presentation was very long winded.

Ok, the drive to the site is long and arduous. Ok, the tour requires a long hike that eventually requires you to descend 130 feet down a steep slope before you finish with a short jaunt to the site. The reward is worth every huff...More

We were glad they still allow people to still walk around the cave dwellings. The tour is at a controlled and easy pace with a lot of walking.
