We started early due to the mid day heat and good thing we did as we got a little lost!! But it really doesn't matter which route you take as its all great fun and a super mornings exercise . Fantastic scenery to!

This was a terrific Walk through the sierra navada countryside. The track we did was 9km, and it was challenging in parts, but wasn't a problem to do it in about 2 hours without too much stress. Definitely a good way to spend a day.

It might be a bit uncomfortable for someone like that but it will depend on how fit they are. There are some very fit mature people. It is not a risky path anyway.

AS earlier replies, no fee and as early as you wish. We would suggest that after walking through to the very end of the canyon that you return the same way. We walked on after exiting the canyon and had quite a climb up... More
