My wife and I are Nashville residents visiting Atlanta who saw ROMA at Midtown Arts Plaza. Supposedly, ROMA's distributors stipulated that the film can only be screened in 70mm, which may be why Midtown is the only theatre in the vicinity to play it. And...More

Great old style theater!!! A very welcomed blast into the past!!! It's so refreshing to see old theaters making a comeback. Don't get me wrong...I enjoy the new theaters with the reclining seats and dinner served while watching a great movie. But it's also nice...More

We really enjoyed going to the Midtown Art Cinema. The only negative was the traffic getting there from the suburbs. The pretzel stuffed with jalapeño and cheese was delicious. The seats are OK. The beverage options including wine and beer are fantastic! The salts provided...More

A great movie house in Midtown Atlanta. They show great films. The staff is always great and very helpful. They have a good selection of beer and wine. My favorite movie house in Atlanta.

This is a great theater . Has more than just the latest films. It has foreign films and even old classics.

It's a bit dated, but the overall ambiance is quite cozy and the films are always on-point. I enjoy chatting with the friendly, knowledgeable staff, that always seems know every film in the cinema.

Midtown Arts Cinema might be a little less modern, but where would Atlanta be without it to feature limited release, avant garde and independent studio films? Pricing is $5-8 dollars less than Atlantic Station per admission. Located in a popular midtown neighborhood double decker plaza...More

It can be crowded, but on most nights, it is a great place to see a movie. They offer quite a few retrospectives, and more avant garde films for the more adventurous cinema aficionado. They also serve wine and beer, and small sized popcorn is...More
