The home of the Atlanta Shakespeare Company, the Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse on Peachtree Street has an enchanting history and a prime location in downtown Atlanta. We are a professional theatre with food and drinks available before each performance (and don't forget the apple crisp at intermission!)

This is a fine place for a pre-show meal at the Shakespeare Tavern. Obviously convenient. Food is served cafeteria style, and is fine for what it is. Pub food: Shepherd's pie, Cornish pasty, etc. Reasonably priced.

This is a very unique theater experience. The food is consistent with an old English Pub and better than I expected. Although this is a dinner theater, you don't have to eat or you can opt for a small plate. Prices are very reasonable as...More

Visited on a Friday night to see a performance of Much Ado About Nothing. The cast was exceptional - accomplished, seasoned, bright, and humorous. The meal selections were decent, about what one would expect in a bar/tavern environment. For those who have not been to...More
