We took our grandkids here for a day of learning and fun. We enjoyed our time here and the kids really had a good time. We would return again.

This place is much smaller than I expected. We looked at every exhibit, but did not go to the planetarium or observatory, and spent about 45 minutes. Live snakes, lots of taxidermy - mostly birds, and a few other things. Free attraction though, so if...More

The dinosaur exhibition is grand. The newly completed walkway thru the forest is great and of course, there is I MAX movie opportunity.

My 10 year old nephew really enjoyed Fernbank and the interactive exhibits. This is also a great place for those grandparents who want a calmer outing with the grandchildren.

The food in the cafe was very good. Although I didn't have time to tour the center, the food made up for it.

Small and active science center with good classes and planetarium, and exhibits covering astronomy, zoology (including live reptiles and amphibians), ecology, electricity, beekeeping (including working hive) and that Apollo command module. Nanotechnology and ecology exhibits were bilingual Spanish/English. Entrance to Fernbank Forest closed June, 2012.
