We attended the Christmas concert last night. Yes the music is beautiful, but it was just well boring. If few slow songs is OK. I needed some upbeat fun Christmas music to put us in Christmas spirit. And honestly we left sad and disappointed. The...More

Coming from Europe where you can have place as in Wien or in Milan or in London, to hear classical music, could be a disadvantage for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra but I was there to listen Rachmaninoff and I have to tell you it was...More

We went to the Atlanta Symphony to watch the Atlanta Youth Orchestra for their first concert of the season, Overture. The conductor, Joseph Young, was phenomenal and the orchestra's renditions of Pohjola's Daughter, West Side Story, and Variations on Opus 36, Enigma were spectacular.

Fantastic Symphony.. even for people who have no idea what they're supposed to be doing. Seats are reasonably priced for the upper balcony ($25 and even less if you go all the way to the back). I would get Balcony Left or Balcony right if...More

Another fun evening at the ASO! We saw the Halloween show focused on the ""Nightmare before Christmas" and it was fun listening to the music live and seeing lots of interesting costumes. For the price, there are few better entertainment options in Atlanta!

If you are heading to the symphony, this place is probably stunning, but for a rock show (Kansas), it was sadly lacking. The sound quality for voice is simply not there. We could not here anything that anyone on stage said throughout the show from...More

What a fabulous night out. We saw the U.K. Pops and it was brilliant. A masterful blend of classical music with two great singers for part of the evening sprinkled in. The drinks are a little pricy but you can take them to your seat...More

I am sure the reviews differ based on what was playing. We went for Mahler's 9th Symphony, and the music was absolutely amazing. The concession prices were not bad, and the staff was friendly. I can't wait to go back.
