Hello, I'm Jimmy Carter, and I'm running for President

Lots of wonderful memorabilia from the Carter years. The exhibit even has the Nobel Peace prize on display. Jimmy was a great President ... and still is a wonderful person.

For being fairly tech savvy people, we struggled to find the exact location of the library. Poor signage and bad GPS. Once we got there, we really enjoyed our stay. Great outline of President Carters accomplishments during his presidency along with ALL the work he has done after his presidency. Special exhibit was awesome about his work toward smaller diseases.... More

We stopped by and enjoyed reliving our childhood and learned more about the Carters but it just reminded me how the present administration has not learned enough history.

I wanted to go here because I am trying to teach my child about work and service to others, and this mimics what we learned at MLK area (plus I am a bit a fan of his/their service). The movie was necessary because I was like 10 years old at the time of his presidency but I remembered so much. Then... More

Spent a great afternoon in the museum and walking the grounds. It is amazing how much good they have done in the world since they left office. You do not win a Nobel Peace Prize for nothing

It was an easy Uber ride from downtown Atlanta. Kids are free. We were probably there for about 2 hours. There's a lot of great history inside. It's inexpensive and it doesn't take up a half day like a lot of places. It was a wonderful add-on to our visit to Atlanta.

The Carter Center should be part of any visit to Atlanta. It is in a beautiful location full of trees and water features. The Center gives you a great insight into the Carter presidency and into the great work that they do to combat disease, terrorism and to foster education and democracy.

A visit to the Carter Museum is a good reminder that Jimmy Carter's life has been about more than his brief tenure as President of the United States. The museum gives a good overview of the life of Jimmy Carter from boyhood through today and highlights his many accomplishments through the years. Highlights of his presidency and a re-creation of... A very interesting museum on Jimmy Carter, the US President from 1976-80. There is lots of information on display about his career. It only cost $8 to visit. Enjoyed a good lunch at the cafeteria. The property is beautiful. I wish I could have taken a walk however it was pouring rain.

Very nice presidential library & museum. We watched film at the beginning of the tour that covers President Carter's time growing up on peanut farm, his presidency and the humanitarian projects he has started . It was a great refresher coarse of the turmoil the USA was in during his time ad president. Be sure to stroll the grounds, their... More
