Arrived 17 minutes early and was turned away. Apparently you need to be 20 minutes or more on arrival. But the facility does a poor job of making that known. We went back and looked and sure enough that was written but not obvious. There have been so many people who have had this issue too. And…. They run over 45 minutes late for every appointment. Not a fan at all. Our waivers were done online as well. The people at the desk were rude. Customer service is 0! Terrible experience! They can keep the 150. I think that’s what they count on.

on a business trip, visiting Atlanta. iFly was right around the corner from the hotel, so I thought I'd give it a try. Fun, but disappointing. Your "flight" will consist of approximately 1 minute. If you book two flights, keep in mind, your paying for 2 and a half minutes of actual time in the air. So, $140 for 2 1/2 minutes. What a money maker!!

The customer services was terrible! My 12 year old son got left out right before his team was going to enter the cylinder. I had to go ask one of the team leaders if he was going to fly. The gentleman's attitude was far from inviting and cordial. They basically overlooked my son and put him in the front of the line so he could be the first to fly. Then, after I received my credit card bill I was billed twice for the flights. Apparently when I booked on their website, I was booked for 2 reservations instead of one. I was not asked when checking in with my son to confirm the reservations for 2, when they saw I only had 1 child. I called and left a message and never received a return call. I had to call once again and finally spoke to 3 or 4 different individuals. I was basically told I booked 2 reservations and I would not get a refund for 1 of the reservations. I would not recommend this event due to poor customer service and the unwillingness to help a customer. I am in the customer service business and have ALWAYS presumed the customer is right no matter what if you want the business! There are always exceptions to every rule!

This sounds like a frustrating experience. We pride ourselves on our world class customer service and we're genuinely sorry you feel you didn't receive that. Oftentimes our customers book multiple packages to get more Flight time, or sometimes one person in a group backs out and the other uses their Flights, so a person flying on a reservation meant for 2 is not abnormal for us. Unfortunately you noticed the issue quite far after the experience where the service had already been provided. We have put multiple measures in place to ensure our guests know what they're purchasing and how much they're paying including showing the quantity and total amount to be charged multiple times during the checkout process and sending confirmation emails with the quantity purchased and total charged. Even though the experience cost you a bit more than you were expecting, we hope the smile on your son's face while flying made it a little bit better.

I have done this 2 times. First about a year ago and it was fantastic. We paid the extra amount for the really high flying experience. The flight instructor in the tunnel with me was a strong athletic man who got me in the grabbed hold and off we went really high several times. It was great. My second visit a few weeks ago was terrible. We paid the extra amount for the really high flying experience, all good. The flight instructor was this little petite woman half my size. Didn't think anything of it. I weight 250 lbs. Went into the tunnel 2 times and just floated about 4 feet off the screen floor. After my second flight the little petite flight instructor women said "I do not feel comfortable taking you up high sorry" I was in shock. Basically this was an un-qualified flight instructor who really wasted my time and money. Very disappointed. Especially since we pre registered on line and I entered my weight. This is a real problem because we drove an hour to get there. I was not the only 250 lb guy there that day and they were denied high flight too. I find it totally rotten to have flight instructors not qualified to handle the big boys. So make sure you ask about this before you book your flights. They did voluntarily refund my money for the high fly option, that was good I did not have to ask for it. But it was not about the money, I have lots of money it was the lack of qualified flight instructors.

Before I go into the review let me preface it with some advice. Do a little research before you go. First: Understand that this is s SPORT that asks the participant to physically engaged. It isn't a passive activity like riding a roller coaster. This means that the average underfit person can't handle much more than a minute or two in a session. Your body being blown by big winds that can reach well over 150mph...think about that for a minute...
Second: the main piece of equipment is a vertical WIND TUNNEL, meaning, an expensive large mechanical device that needs to be in tip top shape in order to run properly (not to mention the cost to build). So, the price charged for the amount of resource used is more than commensurate.
Off my soap box and into the air!
My husband, I and our three adult children did our first flights this weekend. A group flight, 10 1 minute flights (2 for each of us). We booked for 10:30 on Saturday night.
We got to the venue on time and were checked in promptly. Checkin was super easy as we did the waivers online.
We stashed our stuff in the free lockers and watched the class before us do their highfly maneuver then their instructor did some aerial acrobatics.
We were paired with another group of 5 and we all went in to the classroom for a short video, learned about the hand signals we would use and then had some focused guidance from our instructor, Braxton (aka Papa Bird).
We were fitted with flight suits, earplugs and helmets and were ready to soar.
There is a timer in the chamber so you know exactly how long your flight has left, but don't expect to notice that. There is a lot happening and you honestly won't be able to gauge the passage of time. Just relax and engage - I know, what? 😁 If you have ever done a tandem skydive (I have) you'll note that this is much more of a challenge. In tandem skydiving you are basically a passenger. Here the wind asks, nay demands you pay attention, but luckily you have your instructor there to give you the non verbal cues to make your flight fun and successful.
our package included a high flight on the last 30 seconds of the second minute. This is where the instructor takes you up to the top of the glass for three revolutions. Personally, I loved the "solo" portion of my two flights but actually experienced a bit of pain in my left arm during the revolutions. I think this may be that I was fighting the experience a little bit once our instructor took over and probably if I'd relaxed into it I wouldn't have had that issue. Nevertheless, it felt a bit twingy for a few hours but pretty much fine the next morning. No one else in our party experienced this. In fact, they all LOVED the high flying part. I am a 50 yr old woman in so-so shape so odds are my shoulder issue was due to many factors Unrelated to the flight.
After all of our flights were over, Braxton gave us a demonstration. After having been in the tunnel it was much easier to appreciate the skill and athleticism he displayed.
We left the tunnel, took off our gear and received instructions for the video and photo downloads.
Again, one more shout out to Braxton. He was friendly, well spoken, knowledgeable and efficient. I never felt in anyway unsafe or unimportant. High Five, Braxton!
We were there about an hour and a half. It was a great bonding experience and beat sitting on our butts watching a movie.
I recommend this experience, highly.

This was amazing. My kid chickened out and the staff were excellent and offered me extra time so I was not out of money. I had a blast. So much so that I have now signed up to do a real tandum jump. Definitely worth the trip and price.

Kids just loved it, Very safe for both COVID-19 and for the people who want to try and fly. Make sure you call and make reservations. Even though is short , the kids enjoyed every second of it.

Just finished out skydiving experience at iFLY (10PM class) and it was amazing. I took my little sister for her 15th birthday because I didn’t want us to do the regular bowling or movie day. I will admit, I was a little unsure at first, but watching others in the tunnel fly high got me very excited. Our instructor James was AWESOME. He made us comfortable and gave easy instructions while having a great sense of humor. When in the tunnel, his directions were still clear and Hector, who is at the switchboard outside the tunnel, was the BEST HYPE MAN. Watch that guy too! Not only does he help you out to achieve optimal position, I swear he made me feel like I was a pro flyer. I’m definitely going again and will most certainly ask for James again. At the end of the visit, they offer passes discounted 50% off from the online / regular prices but you have to get it right then. GET THIS DEAL. Don’t be like me and not take advantage of this deal. I wasn’t thinking right and really wish I would have bought passes. Can’t wait to go back!

Special Notes:
- signing up for the waiver online saves time. If you are bringing minors, make sure the legal guardian fills out the waiver
- They will verify your weight at the door by making you stand on a red scale. No worries, no one else sees your weight 🙂
- after check in, be prepared to wait about 30 minutes before getting your gear (10:00p class, they call you at 10:30p)

For a grandson's birthday we bought a family package (up to 5 people) that said, in the promotion, "10 flights shared by 1-5 people." Price for the package was $299.95. Well, in indoor skydiving language a "flight" is a 1-minute experience. So the package was buying 10 total minutes of "flight" time divided by the number of people in the family group - if you have 5 people then each flies 2 total minutes in one-minute increments. Now, the prices "per flight" get considerably better for "returning flyers" but be aware, for your first experience you are buying flight time in one-minute increments. With that in mind it's a great experience for kids and adults. DEFINITELY add the high-flying option for an additional $9.00. If you're going to fly, fly high.

I booked a reservation for my daughter’s birthday and felt like it was a total waste. I paid $69.95 for two flights plus $9.95 for the high flight. She went up just one minute for each flight. Not worth your money folks. No stunts or anything like what the instructors do. Definitely not for thrill seekers. Great rip off business.
