Was looking forward to touring but renovations has all but the performing area closed. Check with them after October to see if the whole facility is opened.

What to do with a toddler in Atlanta? Visit the puppets! Actually the adults in the group had as much fun as my granddaughter. The Muppets were especially popular with our group. I was fascinated by the international puppets. Puppets definitely appeal to everyone no matter what your age. We opted not to see a puppet show because we didn't... More

I took my 4-year old Grandson to the Center recently to see Click Clack Moo. I was so impressed with the performance. He was fascinated and smiled the whole time. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, though. The performers were talented and engaging, and there is hidden adult humor. The theater was reasonably comfortable and upgrades are underway. I... More

One of a tiny handful of serious puppet theaters and venues. Both children's and adult performances are artisanal and 5 star.

We took the small. Children ahead 18 months to 8- it wasn't the best show they have ever done but the children were spell bound. After all they are the target audience. ( yes I thought the story a bit silly) however this book is extremely popular with 2-4 year olds! Strange they didn't sell the book at the shop... More

I loved coming here and seeing all the different sorts of puppets. I went with my father (I'm in my 20s, Dad's on his 50s), and still very much enjoyed it. I recommend it, as it's likely not on many tourist's places to visit, and was an enjoyable experience

First, remember that kids love puppets...so don't go expecting a museum atmosphere. Older puppet/muppet fans will love this place. From the moment you walk in and see those giant Pinocchio legs coming out of the ceiling, you know it's going to be just what you expected. Miss Piggy on display, the puppet history room, the puppet show...added up to a... More

I would not visit here again unless the entry fee was reduced. Yes there are a great assortment of puppets, but it is extremely too high verses paying to go just across the street and see a part of history for less than half the price.

Always engaging and always fun. About the only thing left would be to have it not look like it was built in the 1970's or earlier.
