Stopped in while visiting during the Wassail 2018 festivities. What a neat little museum. While there we were able to participate in a silent auction and visit the Museum which showcased Woodstock’s history. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about the early history of Woodstock. While there...More

We were there for a presentation. The room was nice and the view of the river from the back was wonderful. We did not see many exhibits, but what I saw was very interesting.

We have come to Woodstock for years and only discovered the historical society this year. The old maps and charters are the most interesting.

For being free and operating off donated items, it's amazing. They have gathered so much history about their town (and VT in general). If you're looking for something to do and enjoy history, it's great.

We dropped in on this little museum. It had some pretty great displays throughout the old house. The house tells the story of the early life of Woodstock. Featured at the moment was a display on wedding dresses. The best was the dress that had...More
